H. Gene and Maria Allen,
Senior Pastors

Gene and Maria bring to us a rich history of Christian heritage and church ministry leadership. Gene was called to preach at the age of 17 years old. Since that time he has served as an evangelist, youth and associate minister, and for the past thirteen years, a senior pastor. He is a passionate communicator who brings practical biblical principles to help his congregation deal with contemporary issues. Gene's congregation has called him a "true pastor with a pastor's heart." He is a genuine preacher of the gospel and has a passion for people and a great desire to see those people experience God.

Maria has served along side her husband since their marriage in 1984. Besides her ministry as a pastor's wife, she serves as Women's Ministries president at Family Life Church. Maria is known for her energetic personality and her sincere desire to connect and help women deal with contemporary stressors such balancing family, work and ministry. Sheis also known for her cooking, baking and love for recipe books.

Gene and Maria have been married for 26 years. They have three daughters, one son-in-law, and have been recently blessed by the birth of their first grandchild, Mazie Jewell.

Erica is 24, and in December of 2009, graduated from Mid-America Christian Univeristy with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. Erica is the Director of Angel Food Ministries at Family Life. Lauren is 22 and married Clint on June 7, 2008.  Clint and Lauren serve as Student Ministry Directors at Family Life. Clint and Lauren have one child; Mazie Jewell was born in August of 2010.  Lindsay is 19 and is a sophmore at Evangel University, in Springfield, Missouri,  where she is studying Music Education. Lindsay is also very active in the Children's Department at James River Assembly of God in Ozark, Missouri.
